Our "Family"
Jim and MaryAnn Ehret have been married almost 40 years. Early in their marriage their passion for dogs led them to begin their journey of pet ownership and breeding. In the 70's they first gained experience breeding Basset Hounds after friends noticed the good temperment of their bassets, Fish & Katie. As they raised their daughters, Julie, Joanne and Jennifer they instilled the same love of dogs and passion for breeding high quality family dogs in the girls. As their daughters grew up, the family also became passionate about helping raise assistance dogs. Julie and Jennifer have each raised assistance dogs for Guide Dogs of the Desert. The certification required for this task has helped in the family's ability to create not only fun family dogs, but disciplined family dogs.
With the girls out of the the house there are now 4 dogs we breed:
Julie and her husband Russel breed
SADIE, a 3 year old AKC Yellow Labrador Retriever.
Jim and MaryAnn breed Lucy, a 4 year old AKC Cocker Spaniel.
Joanne breeds Maggie, a 3 year old AKC Cocker Spaniel.
Jennifer breeds
MILLIE, a 2 year old AKC Yellow Labrador Retriever.
